Returns & Exchanges

At Zia Boutique, we take pride in offering premium-quality women’s ethnic wear that blends elegance, tradition, and style. Each garment is carefully inspected and packed to ensure it reaches you in perfect condition. 

We use premium-quality fabrics to provide you with the best fashion experience. Please note that slight colour bleeding or minor texture changes may occur in some garments due to washing or drying conditions. To maintain their beauty and longevity, dry cleaning is strongly recommended. 

Exchange Policy 

We understand that sometimes a size or style might not be quite right. As most of our collections are limited-edition and handcrafted, an exact exchange may not always be possible. 

If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may request an exchange under the conditions below: 

  • Exchanges only — refunds are not provided unless the item is faulty or does not meet Australian Consumer Law guarantees. 
  • Please choose carefully, as we do not offer refunds for change-of-mind purchases, incorrect sizing selections, or personal preference, unless required under Australian Consumer Law. 
  • You must contact us within 7 days of receiving your item. 
  • Items must be returned in original, unused condition, with all tags attached and in original packaging. 
  • Sarees must retain their original folds. 
  • Garments must be unworn, unwashed, and free from perfume, stains, or alterations. 

Items Not Eligible for Exchange 

For hygiene and customisation reasons, exchanges cannot be accepted for: 

  • Saree blouses 
  • Altered garments 
  • Final sale or clearance items 

Ready-to-Wear Clothing – Size Guidance

Order Cancellations 

Orders are processed quickly, therefore cancellation requests cannot be guaranteed once an order has been placed.  

Faulty or Damaged Items 

Under the Australian Consumer Law, customers are entitled to certain consumer guarantees. This includes goods that are of acceptable quality, match their description, and are fit for their intended purpose. 

To report a fault or damage: 

  • We encourage customers to notify us as soon as possible after receiving their order if an item appears faulty or damaged. Email: hello@ziaboutique.com.au 
  • Include your order number, clear photos of the items. 
  • Once assessed, we will offer a replacement, or refund (as appropriate). 

Please note: Many of our garments feature handcrafted details, traditional weaving techniques, embroidery, and artisanal finishing. Slight variations in weave, print placement, embroidery, or texture are considered part of the garment’s unique character and are not regarded as faults. We make every effort to display garment colours accurately. However, actual colours may vary slightly due to lighting, photography, and individual screen settings. 

Return Shipping 

  • If an item is confirmed to be faulty, damaged, or incorrectly supplied, Zia Boutique will cover reasonable return shipping costs in accordance with Australian Consumer Law. 
  • For items valued over AUD $75, we recommend using a trackable shipping service and/or shipping insurance. 
  • Zia Boutique is not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit. 

Exchange Timeframes 

Once your returned item is received and inspected: 

  • Eligible exchanges will be processed within 7–10 business days. 
  • Delivery times for replacement items may vary depending on your location. 

Dispatch Inspection Statement 

All garments undergo quality inspection prior to dispatch to ensure they meet our boutique standards.  

Australian Consumer Law 

This policy operates in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights or remedies you may have under applicable consumer laws.
